The two Australian radio hosts who
prank called the hospital where Kate Middleton was being treated have
been pulled off the air "until further notice" after the hoaxed nurse
was found dead today.
"Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) and
2Day FM are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the death of nurse
Jacintha Saldanha from King Edward VII's Hospital and we extend our
deepest sympathies to her family and all that have been affected by this
situation around the world," the radio station said in a statement
posted on their Facebook page.
The station's chief executive
spoke with the DJs, Mel Greig and Michael Christian, and "they are both
deeply shocked," the statement said. The parties agreed that the hosts
would not comment on the situation.

Office released the autopsy report on Christopher Wallace, aka The
Notorious B.I.G. or Biggie Smalls, on Friday, more than 15 years after
the rapper was shot to death.
The 23-page report offers fresh details about his death, which remains one of the city's best-known unsolved homicides.
Wallace,
24, was shot and killed early on March 9, 1997, as he was leaving a
music industry party. He was riding in the front passenger seat of a
Chevrolet Suburban when another vehicle pulled up beside his and someone
opened fire.
Wallace was shot four times, according to the autopsy report.

fatal bullet entered his right hip and ripped through several organs,

London (CNN) -- A nurse at the hospital that was duped by a prank call
from two Australian radio DJs concerning Prince William's pregnant wife,
Catherine, has apparently committed suicide, the hospital confirmed
Friday.
The nurse "was recently the victim of a hoax call," King Edward VII Hospital said in a media statement.
The
DJs impersonated Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles in the prank
call, in which some details of the Duchess of Cambridge's condition and
care were given.
The nurse who died was the person who first
took the hoax call and transferred it through to Catherine's ward, the
hospital's public relations company said.

and her father were accused of incest, following a months long

said a DNA test shows George Sayers, 46, and Tiffany Hartford, 23, of

the police investigation started in February after Hartford's
ex-girlfriend told police Sayers was selling images of the former couple
having sex. The photos had been taken with Hartford and the teen's

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Osun has
arrested a pastor and a 27-year-old man with 181 bags of cannabis sativa
popularly known as Indian hemp.
The sector commander of the Agency, Anthonia Edeh, made this known on Friday while addressing newsmen in Osogbo.
According
to Edeh, the 45-year-old pastor, and one other person were arrested at
Ikire in Irewole Local Government Area of the state on Dec. 5, with the
illicit weed weighing 1,838.4 kilogramme.
“Men of the command
swooped into action based on the information received from patriotic
Nigerians and arrested the two suspects in a three rooms apartment,
where the bags of Indian hemp were stocked,” she said.

Former Head of State, General Abubakar
Abdulsalami (rtd) has said that it would take about 20 years of
constant effort to revive the Northern part of the country from its

neighbouring Niger Republic after an attack blamed on Islamist militant

Luck ran out on a middle-aged
suspected vandal, Thursday as he was electrocuted while vandalizing one
of the transformers serving Akanchawa Udenwa area of Owerri metropolis.
It
was neither clear how many people came for the damnable operation nor
at what time of the night the vandal died in his act but residents of
the area told Vanguard that they woke up to behold the morbid spectacle.
Vanguard
investigations also revealed that the suspected vandal wanted to

Confirming the sad incident to Vanguard, PHCN Senior

The family of a lady, Gloria Akpan, has accused their daughter’s

A family source, who craved
anonymity, said when he spoke to Gloria on Friday, a day before her
death, she told him that all was well, adding that it was shocking to

The source said, “Without seeing any member of the family, that same Saturday, they hurriedly buried her.
“This is suspicious. The information we got was that she was strangled as she bled through her nose and mouth.”

Alhaji Ibrahim Gaidam and his Niger State counterpart, who is

The anti-virus software millionaire John McAfee has been arrested by Guatemalan police for illegally entering the country, the interior minister, Mauricio Lopez Bonilla, has said.
McAfee crossed into Guatemala to evade authorities in Belize who want to question him in connection with the murder of his neighbour. There is no international arrest warrant for McAfee.
McAfee
declared himself a fugitive, changed his appearance and went on the run
after claiming he was being set up by corrupt Belize officials for the
murder.
McAfee made his millions as founder of the antivirus
software company that bears his name. He sold the company in 1994 and
then invested in other tech ventures before retiring to Belize in 2008.
Lopez Bonilla said Guatemala would seek to expel McAfee because he arrived illegally.
McAfee,
67, had been in hiding for three weeks. He crossed into Guatemala with
his girlfriend to evade authorities in Belize who wanted to quiz him as
"a person of interest" about the killing of fellow American

Thursday suspended for three matches and fined £60,000 (74,320 euros)

A military plane has crashed in South Africa’s mountainous east, killing 11 people, local media reported Thursday.
The Dakota air force plane, which crashed late Wednesday, was not
