"I used to Sell Nkwobi and Pepper Soup" - Omawumi
In an interview on Rubbing Minds,Nigerian singer and first runner up in the first edition of West Africa Idol,Omawumi Megbele,told Ebuka Obi Uchendu the host of the TV show that she once sold Nkwobi and Isewu at her mum's beer parlour in Warri.
"My mom had a glorified beer parlour in Warri where she used to sell Nkwobi and Isewu. In fact I was the one who used to make the Nkwobi" Omawumi explained.
On her being a single parent,Omawumi had this to say,"I didn't come with that intention to be a single parent,however,now that I have found myself in that position,I'm going to enjoy and walk the stride until
when God brings that man that will come."
