Rihanna, Chris Brown Are Still Together But "Fighting"

The Rihanna/Chris Brown saga continues. Though recent reports claimed that the controversial couple had split, a source tells Us Weekly that they're still together -- for now, at least. Things aren't exactly stellar between them, however.
According to the insider, the 25-year-old "Pour It Up" songstress and the 23-year-old "Fine China" singer have been fighting a lot in recent weeks. But that's not necessarily out of the ordinary for the passionate pair. "Every second it's a blow-up and then full on in love," the source says of their tumultuous relationship.

Likely adding to the stress are their busy schedules. The insider says both Rihanna and Brown are super focused on their music -- which means they're less focused on each other. "She's touring and working her ass off, and he's working his off in the studio," the insider explains. (The pop star is in the middle of her 2013 Diamonds World Tour, while her on-again/off-again boyfriend is preparing to release his new album, X, later
this year.)

Brown spoke about their romance just last week in an interview with Matt Lauer on the Today show. Dismissing rumors of a breakup, he said that "everything's good" between him and the "Diamonds" singer. "We're fine," he assured Lauer.
"As far as me and her are concerned, she knows my heart and I know her heart," he said, adding that there would never be a repeat of his February 2009 assault on her. "I'm not really focused on the negative."

The same may not be said of Rihanna. Performing at L.A.'s Staples Center on Tuesday, April 9, the star hinted at some inner turmoil regarding her relationship with Brown.
"How many of you are in love? How many of you hate love? How many of you don't f--king understand it?" she asked the crowd before singing the song "What Now."
"I'm in that group," she said. "The confused group."
