Hyena Feasts On A 12 Year Old Girl To Death In Kenya
A 12 year old girl was at the weekend killed by a hyena in Kajiado county.
The student is from Oloontulugum Primary School met her brutal death as she was heading home for lunch. The hyena attacked her and feasted on her fleshy parts before breaking some bones from her body.
Efforts to save her proved futile as she screamed faintly unable to alert neighbours. A man who was herding cattle saw the hyena eating her. He wrestled with it and manages to kill the hyena. Unfortunately, the girl had already been killed. The man sustained serious injuries and was rushed to hospital.
Brimtime gathered that, the body of the deceased was taken to Kajiado District Hospital Mortuary awaiting post mortem examination.
The area residents have appealed to the government to take steps and tame the animals so that they don’t cross their boundaries and cause more harm to humanity.
