If PDP Collapses, Nigeria Will Collapse Says Ex-Convict Bode George
Why should a man who was sent to jail for embezzling billions of naira, Bode George, and highly celebrated by his party on his return now have a voice to talk about the future of Nigeria.
Former national deputy chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Olabode George, has stated that the fortune of Nigeria is intertwined with that of the ruling party.
At a media interactive session in Lagos on Friday, George urged the founding fathers of PDP to intervene in the crisis within it, saying doing so means saving Nigeria's democracy from collapse.
In his words: “PDP is the only party that carries the pan-Nigerian coloration from the swampy forests to the Savannah. Every corner, you’ll find the PDP, if PDP collapses, this nation will collapse.”
