Tonto Dikeh and Stella Damascus dropped from Red Cross Ambassadorship

Last month, bebeakinboade.com brought you a report that 20 celebrities were inducted as celebrity Red Cross ambassadors at the Lagos Sheraton hotels and towers in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the organizations existence.
According to Nigerian Red Cross, the ambassadors were selected in recognition of their worthy contributions to the community. Between then and now, two Nollywood names have been screened out. They are Stella Damascus and Tonto Dikeh.

Stella Damasus 

 

According to reports, the duo didn’t meet the scrutiny standard of a Red Cross ambassador. The scrutiny standards include:  health and personality exercise which they both failed.

Tonto Dike, asides her heavy tattoos also had personality problems, especially the excess use of tobacco. While Stella was screened out from the race because of a recent marriage scandal between fellow actress Doris Simeon’s husband and her. According to the Red Cross, personality reputation was necessary and such would not be welcomed by the Society.

Red Cross has built an image it wants to uphold and would not want to associate with any unfavourable personality/character.
