Idongesit Nkanga, advised the governor to resign from the PDP or be expelled by the party’s leadership if he fails to do so.
Mr Nkanga stated, “No party leader including those currently manipulating will allow what Amaechi is
currently doing in the PDP.”
The group advised the governor to resign honourably to wage his war against the party as it also advised the party to expel him if he fails to quit to bring sanity to the party and serve as warnings to other renegades in the party.
A notable member of the group is elder statesman, Edwin Clark.
The Governor is currently on suspension from the party for anti-party affairs.
Addressing journalists in Abuja on Wednesday, the group also condemned the support for Mr Amaechi by some of his colleagues over the crisis in the state.
