WATCH: Wizkid Throws 100k Into Crowd At Felabration 2013, Causes Stampede!
Without even realizing it, Wizkid caused a stampede amongst fans last night at the Felabration festival after he threw money into the crowd.
TheNet.ng reports that after his amazing performance, Wizkid grabbed some cash from his manager Godwin Tom and threw it into the crowd.
He immediately left the venue and didn't even realize the near-disaster he had caused as fans in the crowded general public area proceeded to hound themselves over the few thousands of Naira.
The fight for the N500 notes amongst the crowd was so fierce that it couldn’t be controlled by the stage
security.
At some point, the security guards joined in the fight for the money.
The fight led to a stampede that lasted for about 30 minutes, and eventually took the intervention of more security officials and show host Omobaba's plea for everyone to become calm.
