Boko Haram kills eight in bachelor party attack in Maiduguri
Around 11pm Saturday night December 28th, three men suspected to be
members of Islamic militant Boko Haram invaded a bachelor party at
Tashan Alade village in Maiduguri and opened fire on the party-goers,
killing eight of them and injuring several others.
An witness who survived the attack said the men came in two motorcycles, joined the party like they were guests and before anyone knew what was going on, they brought out their rifles and started shooting indiscriminately. They fled the scene after making sure several people were dead.
