Tuface Idibia Spends N250 Million On Brand New Night Club in Festac, Lagos
Earlier this month 2face Idibia opened a brand new nightspot called Rumors Nite Club in FESTAC Town, Lagos. According to NET, the club, which launched first week of January is said to have cost N250 Million to set up, this according to a source.
The artiste who just welcomed his seventh child with wifey Annie Idibia (her second), is already the proud owner of an Ikeja arm of the club which is the first in his nightclub chain, he is also reported to be looking to open another Rumors Club in Victoria Island.
I love how 2Face is diversifying his music money into solid investments.
2Face’s business partner Dotun Omotoye told NET that the official opening of the club will take place in
February as the January launch was just a soft launch. He said
We are only test running the place and waiting for the completion of the 1000 guest capacity event center before we open officially in February
2Face who is also the CEO of Hypertek Records and Entertainment, is certainly emulating hip hop star Jay Z who owns the famed 40/40 Nightclub, a record label, clothing line, sports agency and production company.
He spoke about Jay Z being his role model in a past interview with Punch, where he said,
I am not only an artiste, I’m also an entrepreneur. I want to make the night club a model like Jay-Z’s Club 40/40. I want to have my clubs in major cities in Nigeria and one in South Africa, Europe and the US.
