Hon. Abdullateef Abdulkareem, a former member of Lagos House of Assembly and a former Special Adviser to Governor Babatunde Fashola on Political and Legislative Powers, is getting set to marry his fourth wife.
It was gathered by Encomium Weekly that Hadizat, the 3rd wife and the fourth wife, Rekihat he is planning to marry, are friends.

Hadizat was said to have pleaded with her husband to marry her and her friend so she can have a playmate, as his other two wives were too old for her to play and relate with.
Hon. Abdulkareem agreed and decided to marry the two friends.

The ex-lawmaker who is a lawyer and the Chief Imam of the Lagos House of Assembly since 2003, got married on July 9, 2014, to his third wife Hadizat, a 23-year-old corper doing her primary assignment with Lagos House of Assembly and he is planning to get married to his fourth wife on October 28, 2014.

Hadizat had fixed her marriage for November but when she heard her friend Rekihat had fixed hers for August, 2014, she decided to bring hers forward so that she will be the senior wife. The marriage held somewhere in Gbagada, Lagos and among those who attended the Nikkai ceremony was Mr. Charles Oputa a.k.a Charly Boy.
When contacted, Hon. Abdulkareem confirmed the marriage, saying the fourth marriage will be in October not August.
Hon. Abdullateef Abdulkareem was a member of Lagos House of Assembly between 2003 and 2007 representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency. He was Special Adviser to Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola on Political and Legislative Powers between 2007 and 2011. As the Chief Imam of the Lagos House of Assembly Mosque, he is a regular face within the secretariat, Alausa, where many believe he met his new wife, Hadizat and who herself introduced the fourth wife, Rekihat to him.
