I Must Battle Jonathan for PDP Presidential Ticket –Tafawa Balewa's Son
The move by Peoples Democratic Party to present President Goodluck Jonathan as it's sole candidate for the 2015 presidential election is set to cause a serious storm in the party, as some are alleging injustice.
The son of Nigeria’s first Republic Prime Minister, Dr. Abdul-Jhalil Tafawa-Balewa, has said whether the PDP likes it or not, he will contest the 2015 presidential election on the platform of the PDP. Dr. Tafawa-Balewa condemned plot by the Adamu Mu'Azu led national leadership of the party to demoralize other presidential aspirants by adopting President Jonathan as the sole presidential candidate.
He said he and his supporters won't accept such undemocratic practice which is a violation of their rights.
