Kontuga under attack again by Boko haram insurgents
Kontuga is currently under attack again by the Boko Haram insurgents. See Defence HQ tweets below:
The official twitter handle of the Defence headquarters disclosed this some moments ago “The Troops are determined to frustrate the desperate efforts of terrorists against Konduga and environ. Details Later.”
Details are yet to emerge but earlier today the military informed that troops crushed the attempts of the
insurgents to capture the village.
3 Hilux vehicles, 1 Amoured Personnel Carried and a cache of arms and ammunition were captured by the troops.
Hundreds of the insurgents were said to have died in the attack.
