Primary School Pupil Kills Friend in Kenya

Police in Migori, Kenya are holding a 14-year-old pupil after he went berserk and slashed his friend to death. The two pupils from Machicha primary school were gathering fodder for cows when the grisly incident occurred.
According to the school head teacher Oscar Nyakwaka, the two pupils were cracking jokes as they gathered fodder and a joke by one of the friends irked his mate.
The school boy used the panga he had and slashed his friend, the boy’s screams alerted residents who
rushed to the area and tried rescuing him before he died.
The area Assistant Chief Silvanus Nyaruba confirmed the incident and said the boy will be arraigned in a juvenile court where he will answer to the charges of murder. His mate’s body was taken to Migori District Hospital mortuary.
