This is a shocker! According to TMZ on Feb. 25, Janet Jackson got married last year to Wissam Al Mana, a Qatari businessman. Yes, last year.
Janet and her husband released a joint statement on her website: "The rumours regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true. Last year we were married in a quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony. Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favourite children’s charities. We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy. With love, Wissam and Janet".
This is a surprise to Janet Jackson's fans, especially since it was never released that she was even engaged.
According to TheRichest, Wissam Al Mana is a Middle East investor. He is the director of Al Mana’s
fashion portfolio and owns Al Mana Luxury Company. Al Mana's fashion portfolio includes Hermes, Sonia Rykiel, Agent Provocateur. He is also a shareholder in the Saks Fifth Avenue stores in Dubai, Doha, Bahrain and Kuwait.
