Kidnapped Lagos Council Chairman (Kehinde Bamigbetan) Released

Kehinde Bamigbetan, the Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Authority, who was kidnapped on Monday night, has been released.
The Head of Information Unit of the council, Rabiu Hassan, confirmed the release to PREMIUM TIMES.
It is not clear if any ransom was paid for Mr. Bamigbetan’s release as his abductors had demanded a ransom of $1 million (N155 million ) for his
release.
The council chairman was kidnapped near his house in Ejigbo at about 11:00 p.m.
