Veteran Ghanian Actress Down With Partial Stroke

Ghanian veteran actress, Amanorbea Dodoo, has been hospitalized with stroke. She was said to have woken up in the early hours of Thursday April 18, 2013, to go to the washroom, only to realize that she couldn't move. 

She was rushed to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital where doctors diagnosed her of partial stroke.

A source close to her confirmed that the stroke has affected her right side but the doctors say there is a lot of hope for her to recover.The last movie she featured in before this unfortunate incident was Yvonne Nelson's co-produced movie "House of Gold" in which she played the role of the family lawyer. She was seen last in public on Friday April 12, 2013, at the premiere of "House of Gold".
