BREAKING NEWS: PDP Suspends Governor Amaechi of Rivers State

The conflict between the people's democratic party and River's state governor Rotimi Amaechi is on a thin line as they have announced recently to suspend the governor.
At today's meeting of PDP's national working committee the decision was announced to suspend the River's governor who was not long ago elected in a controversial election to continue his reign as the chairman of the Nigerian Governor's Forum (NGF)
PDP also last month suspended 27 River's state lawmakers loyal to Gov Amaechi.
And now it seem's that the conflict between the Governor Amaechi and President Goodluck Jonathan is reaching it's final straw with the President having the backing of the rulling party
See text of the party's statement below:

The National Working Committee at its emergency meeting on Monday, 27 May, 2013 considered the
petition submitted by the PDP Rivers Executive Committee against His Excellency, Rt Hon. The National Working Committee after preliminary hearing, in exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 57 (3), 59 (3), 59 (5) and 29 (2.b), hereby suspends the Executive Governor of River State, Rt Hon.
