Major Al-Mustapha's Release Sparks Jubilation in Kano
There was wild jubilation in Kano on Friday when residents heard the
news of the discharge and acquittal of Major Hamza Al–Mustapha, the
former Chief Security Officer to late Head of State General Sani Abacha
by a Lagos Appeal Court.
Mosques and other gathering areas of the people in the state conducted
special prayers expressing thanks to Allah for the historic day which
saw the former CSO set free from his long incarceration.
