Worst Bachelor Party Ever? Groom Gets Shingles After Traumatizing Kidnapping Prank

A British groom-to-be was "kidnapped" by his friends in a terrifying bachelor party prank that left him so traumatized he developed shingles. Ollie McAninch and his fiancee Clair Hart were enjoying a drive through the countryside when 16 masked men ambushed the car with baseball bats and smoke grenades. While Hart screamed (she was in on the prank), the gang dressed McAninch in a jumpsuit, tied him up and put him in the back of a van (watch a video of the kidnapping below).
"For more than two hours I was in that van. I've never been so scared," McAninch told The Sun.
They silently drove more than 100 miles before revealing themselves to McAninch, but the prank wasn't over yet. The group then forced McAninch to put on a "Borat"-style "mankini" and bike 10 miles to the actual
bachelor party (which McAninch thought was the following week).
Afterwards, McAninch developed shingles, a painful rash caused by the same virus as chicken pox that can be activated by stress. As a precaution, McAninch was told to stay away from his bride-to-be for at least a month.
Ultimately, however, the wedding went on as scheduled, but that doesn't mean McAninch is about to forgive and forget.
"I've logged it for future vengeance," McAninch said.
