Kim Speaks in First Post-Baby Interview: I Want to Look "Hot" for Kanye
North West's mama speaks! Celebrating her 33rd birthday on Monday, Oct. 21, Kim Kardashian recently
gave her very first interview since welcoming daughter North West back
in June -- chatting about fashion and body issues with London's Sunday Times Style supplement. These days, the reality star says, she dresses in part for her man, Nori's dad Kanye West.
"You want your guy to think you're really hot. I'll put something on and he'll [Kanye] say, 'No, that doesn't look good', and I'll trust him,'" she says of the rapper and designer, 36.
The E! star also says that becoming a mom has influenced her style as well. "I want to dress a little lighter colorwise. I think North looks cute in light colors, and then I want to wear light colors," she reasons. "North
doesn't typically wear pink, though. She wears mauve or blush, not, like, typical baby pink."
Although Kardashian made some of the biggest waves yet post-baby last week, when she revealed snaps of
herself in a swimsuit, she said she still has some ways to go in terms of getting her body back.
"I haven't exercised a whole lot so far, just because I've been busy with the baby and I don't want to leave her. I still have some [baby weight] to go," she says, adding that the Atkins Diet has been a godsend. "Atkins worked for me and I don't feel tempted to eat a bunch of junk food. It's just about staying healthy - it will come off."
Dealing with constant criticism for her body and style selections during her pregnancy, she admitted, "completely destroyed" her, Kardashian admitted.
