MILITARY: "Scores" Of Boko Haram Militants Killed in Camps in Air Raids after Yobe College Attack
Maiduguri -- Sources within military say dozens of alleged Boko Haram sect members were killed in the course of punishing air raids on a "terrorist camp".
This week's aerial bombardments follow Sunday's attack, when alleged Islamic insurgents murdered dozens of sleeping students at an agricultural college in Yobe state.
Spokesman Capt. Eli Lazarus says suspects arrested in the raids are being interrogated, and have already provided useful information that could help tracking down other terrorists.
An emergency state has been declared by Presindent Goodluck Jonathan in northern states of Adamawa,
Yobe and Borno.
