WATCH: LASTMA Official Caught On Tape Collecting Bribe From Motorist

          

In a recent report and revealing video, a LASTMA official was caught receiving bribe from a motorist.
It has been suspected that the said motorist broke the Lagos traffic law on purpse to expose corrupt law enforcement agents in the state.
The incident took place while the motorist was driving along Alfred Rewane Road, Ikoyi, Lagos state. He was stopped at the Golden Gate Chinese Restaurant junction where he then went on to record the exchange.
The yet-to-be identified LASTMA official accused the motorist of beating the traffic light.
The motorist was allegedly charges the sum of N8,000 and was escorted to the Automated Teller Machine
(ATM) to withdraw the cash to settle the officer.
