Arsene Wenger Is A Specialist In Failure - Jose Mourinho
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has further ignited his war of words with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger by labelling the Frenchman "a specialist in failure".
Chelsea are currently a point ahead of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table, but Mourinho has in recent days tried to play down his side's title hopes.
Wenger on Friday moved to try and turn the tables on his London counterpart, insisting the Premier League title was Chelsea's to lose.
But speaking to reporters on Friday afternoon, Mourinho responded to the comments.
When told of Wenger's suggestion that managers who play down their team's chances have a "fear to fail", the Blues replied: "He's a specialist in failure. I'm not."
Under Wenger, Arsenal have not won a trophy since 2005.
"Eight years without a piece of silverware, that's failure," Mourinho said.
"He is a specialist in failure. I'm not. So if he is right and I am afraid of failure it is because I didn't fail many
times."
"The reality is he's a specialist because eight years without a piece of silverware, that's failure. If I do that in Chelsea, eight years, I leave and don't come back."
