Boko Haram Relocate Abducted Girls As Military Combs Sambisa Forest

As the Nigerian military have started combing Sambisa Forest in search of girls abducted in Chibok, Boko Haram insurgents are believed to be moving the victims to different locations.
With reference to Bale village local, Leadership reports that there was increased deployment of troops observed in the area of the dreaded forest some days ago.
When contacted on the phone, director of defence information Major General Chris Olukolade said:
"Yes, you got your gist right; we are closing in on the insurgents. We are doing everything within our powers to rescue the abducted girls and return them to their parents safely. As you know, what makes the operation very delicate is the safety of the girls; we want them rescued safely."
These actions reportedly forced the abductors continuously change the victims' location.
One of Izge residents told Leadership Sunday correspondent that the he had already seen twice how the girls were relocated by insurgents in trucks in the forest.

It would be recalled that more than 200 girls were abducted from Governmental Girls' Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, on April 14 in Boko Haram night raid. While some of them managed to escape, the majority are still missing.
