Sad news: Vice President Namadi Sambo’s brother dies in a car crash (GRAPHIC IMAGE)

Vice President Namadi Sambo today lost his younger brother who died in a car crash in Abuja. His car, a BMW X6 hit a tree and immediately caught fire.
The deceased, Capt. Yusuf Sabo Sambo, reportedly had the accident along Bill Clinton drive while on his way to the airport to catch a flight. Eyewitness attributed the car crash to over-speeding.
Late Sambo was a retired Air Force Pilot who served with the Presidential Fleet before engaging in private practice.
Former FCT Minister, Nasir el-Rufai confirmed the tragedy taking time to commiserate with the Sambo family.
In a reaction posted on his Facebook wall, el-Rufai said, “On behalf of the el-Rufai family, I join other Nigerians to commiserate with VP, Namadi Sambo, Mrs. Jummai Sambo and their family on the sudden death of Captain Sabo Sambo today.
“May his gentle, generous and humble soul rest in peace in Aljannah Firdaus. May the Almighty God give the family, friends and associates the strength and fortitude to bear the loss.”
