PHOTOS: #BringBackOurGirls Protest At Nigerian High Commission In Malaysia
The wave of global #BringBackOurGirls protests continues, though both enthusiasm of the activists and hopes for prompt recovery of over 200 kidnapped girls from the hands of Boko Haram are fading away.
A group of Nigerian activists, who work and study in Malaysia, gathered at Nigeria High Commission in Kuala Lumpur on May 21, 2014, Wednesday.
The protesters, who included some University Putra Malaysia students, had a word with the High Commissioner to Malaysia, His Excellency, Amb. Bello Shehu Ringim. They were carrying multiple placards with such messages as: “REAL MEN DON'T RAPE, #EndTheInsurgency, EVIL SHALL NOT PROSPER, WE SLEEP HAPPILY WHILE THEY SLEEP IN ANGUISH, WE NEED A SECURE NIGERIA” and some others.
#BringBackOurGirls rallies have been staged in dozens of cities and megalopolises, including Lagos, Abuja, Johannesburg, Washington D.C., New York and many more.
