University Of Maiduguri Appoints New VC: Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi
Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has been announced
the winner of the Selection Interview which took place on 25th April,
2014. Njodi who is the current D.VC (Academic Services) of
UniMaid, scored a total mark of 90.1 while the second and third persons,
who are equally
qualified professors scored 71.2 and 69.5 respectively. According to DAILY TRUST Newspaper (May 21, Page 12), after weeks of bickering among contenders, the Governing Council of the University of Maiduguri has finally announced the appointment of Professor Ibrahim
Abubakar Njodi's tenure as the new Vice Chancellor of the institution with effect from June 3, 2014.
