Federal Government reverses decision to sack resident doctors
The Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, has announced that suspension of the residency training programme in all federal hospitals with effect from Thursday, August 28 has been rescinded. This effectively changes the federal government’s position on the the sack of over 16,000 resident doctors.
