Trailer driver falls asleep! Crushes pregnant woman, husband to death

An articulated vehicle loaded with cement numbering over 1,000 bags, crushed a pregnant woman and her husband to death on Wednesday.
The incident occurred along Sapele/Agbor road between Umutu/Urhonigbe axis at about 3 pm.
According to reports,  the victims  were returning from a journey heading towards Ebedie, their home town, with their motor cycle when the trailer loaded with cement bags with Reg No GWW 68 AX lost control after veering out of its way.
The driver of the trailer vehicle was said to have fallen asleep while the vehicle was at a very high speed; a situation which led the driver when he later discovered, lost control and crashed on the family, killing them on the spot.
