attack, killing 150 of the terrorists.
The fierce battle is said to have occurred in the Konduga area of Borno, according to findings made by Sahara Reporters.
The
militants were reportedly about 200 in number and they invaded the area
in an armored personnel carrier (APC), six Hilux buses, two Honda cars
rigged with explosives with suicide drivers and numerous motorcycles.
Soldiers
from the Maimalari Barracks were said to have ambushed the terrorists

A source reportedly said:
“We knew about [Boko Haram’s] planned attack three days ago, and we had prepared for them,”
According to another source:
“Today’s
attack by Boko Haram was their first foray towards Maiduguri,” said a
security source. “And we gave them the shock of their lives,”
