Man Killed By His Own Wedding Ring
A man installing a dishwasher was electrocuted after touching copper wire while wearing his wedding ring in South Daytona, Florida, USA.
Jason Ferguson had just finished installing the dishwasher for his relatives when he heard a strange noise it was making.
The 33-year-old reached behind the unit to investigate it when suddenly his ring had touched an ‘unknown element’ in the machine leaving the man electrocuted.
According to the relatives, Ferguson had turned off power in the room for most of the process, but left it on while investigating the noise.
The family was preparing dinner at the time Ferguson stopped moving and had turned red as he knelt in front of the machine.
And only when he became ‘unresponsive’ did they made the 911 call.The man was immediately taken to
hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
