Though the World Health Organization
applauded Nigeria for being free of Ebola earlier this week, a dangerous
stigma continues to follow Nigerians and other West Africans, propelled
by international panic that West Africans are carrying or spreading the
disease.
Just this week, a group of nine West African students traveling to
the Commonwealth of Dominica in the Caribbean were barred from entry to
Saint Martin, a stop en route to Dominica.
The students, who planned to study at the All Saints Medical School in
Dominica, were told that they could not enter the island to catch the 30
minute connecting flight that would bring them to Dominica because of
the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.
The students, four female and five male, left Lagos, Nigeria aboard
Ethiopian Airlines on Saturday, October 18th, billed to arrive in
Dominica on Sunday the 19th. Following a 22-hour flight, the students
arrived in St. Martin, yet were refused entry to the island because of
concern regarding Ebola.
This rejection came after the students showed evidence that they
tested negative for the virus. None of the
In preparation for the upcoming elections, the major opposition

The host Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has led majority of the state
National Assembly members to the rally, which is being showed live on

My first reason borders on
religion. There is a part of the Bible that is against writing anything on your
body. I feel if I do it, I am the devil’s child. At a time I wanted to get it,
I went to the tattoo parlour but for a weird reason, it did not happen. It was
like a phase and after a while, I got over it. I actually wanted to choose

I know many people also belief having a tattoo makes them a devil’s child. Don’t even try to deny it, lol, I

Being single probably is one of the top problems among
Nigerian girls. But only some of them understand that the problem can be
not only in men. They also can change something about their selves, if
they don’t want to end up alone in a company of cuddly cats.
So here are some typical reasons you can easily give up, to reduce chances of being alone:
1. Celebrity gossips
For God’s sake, stop following fake celebrity gossips and watching
reality shows as crazy. These things are fake in almost every case, and,
as well as developing your stupidity, they may also form unnatural life
priorities.
2. Doing charges
Even if you are a self-confident and independent Nigerian lady, don’t
forget about learning to cook and doing home chores. Gender equality is
a good thing, but it is not a reason to turn your house into a mess.
And don’t forget that Nigerian men love good cooking!

never missed a class. His skeleton was made into a display in the 1960s
after his death and he hasn’t missed a class since then either.”
