Flower Girl and Ring Bearer Marry In The Same Church Where They Walked Down the Aisle Together 17 Years Ago
Adrian Franklin and his new wife, Brooke Gibson Franklin, now 21 and 22, were married in Gastonia, North Carolina, on September 19, in front of 300 guests, including the bride whose day they shared when they were both just five years old.
'I was devastated. I was like "tell me I don't have to walk down the aisle with her!"' he said of the moment he was told he'd have to be ring bearer in his family friend's wedding.

But for Brooke, she has always had a crush on her now husband.
'We went to school together and I would always try to play with him on the playground and he wouldn't have anything to do with it,' Brooke told WBTV.
Adrian said that at the time, Brooke's elementary school crush wasn't mutual.
'I was always trying to get away from her and run from her and hide from her,' Adrian added.
But things changed as the two grew older, and they started dating in high school. when they were in their early teens.
'We would draw with our finger on each others backs and guess what the other person was writing,' Adrian told ABC.
