Tribunal upholds Governor Ajimobi's election, dismisses Ladoja’s petition
The Oyo state governorship election petition tribunal in Ibadan, Oyo state today upheld the April 11th
election of the state governor, Abiola Ajimobi. The tribunal was
petitioned by Accord party candidate and former governor
of the state, Rashid Ladoja. The tribunal ruled that the petitioner
failed to prove that the election which brought Ajimobi into office was
marred by election malpractice.
