Protest: X-Pression Workers Block Iju Road Over Non Payment Of Salaries, Ill-Treatment
X-Pression workers this morning, 1st of February, 2016 refused to work and instead marched to the company’s gate and blocked the major road leading to the company’s entrance protesting non-payment of salaries and ill-treatment. According to an eye witness, most of the protesters are young secondary school leavers, who says the condition they are left to work is terrible and will no longer be accepted. They are also demanding for the payment of their salaries. They however vowed
not to leave the spot until all these are resolved. The protesters are over 100.
