Talented music acts, DNA twins, Blair and Clinton Roberts, 20, who participated at the Glo X factor have been kidnapped. The unfortunate incident happened last week Sunday when they left their Abuja home, where they had stayed with their mom who has been raising them alone to board a bus to Lagos. Just two and half hours into their journey, they met a road block and the driver of the commercial bus had to stop for the men thinking they were soldiers because they wore army uniforms. Unknown to them, they were criminal bandits. They hit the driver, shot at the bus
windscreen for passengers to know they meant business and robbed every passenger. They then ordered them to run into the bus which they all did.
Shortly after that, the bandits left and passengers came back to the bus and alas the DNA twins never returned. All efforts made by other passengers to get them proved abortive which showed they had been kidnapped.
Later that evening one of the kidnappers called their father on the
phone and demanded for a N6m ransom. He further threatened that if the
sum wasn't paid by today they would kill the boys.
Sadly, one of the boys is asthmatic and did not travel with his inhaler
which has made their mother more mad for the fear of unknown. As it is
now, they need our prayers to unite back with their family.
