Victor Moses says Jose Mourinho never gave him a chance, thanks new Chelsea coach and vows to score goals

Super Eagles winger Victor Moses believes his career can go upwards now that Jose Mourinho is no longer in Chelsea and he has a new coach Antonio Conte.
Moses was signed by Roberto Di Matteo for £9m in 2009 and featured regularly under Di Mattheo and Rafa Benitez but Mourinho upon joining the club lost interest in his services and farmed him out on loan.
Against Bristol Rovers, in the EFL Cup second round on Tuesday, he scored his first Chelsea goal for more than three years and is determined to seize a chance he feels never came from Jose Mourinho.
Speaking on Chelsea TV, in his post-match interview, Moses said:

'The most important thing for me was coming back to my main club,' said 25-year-old Moses. 'After all the loans I want to be here and help the club I belong to go as high as we can in the table.
'I've always believed in the ability and the talent I've got.

'To be honest every pre-season I feel I've done well and it's just about being given a chance. That was the thing that was missing.
'I've got that with this manager now and he knows what I've got. I just want to pay him back by working hard for the team.'

'There's still a lot to come from me for the club,' he added. 'There's still a lot I want to do for the club.
'We've got a great manager here who gives the lads a chance to express themselves.
'I'm pleased to be playing this season and I just want to keep working hard for the team, which is the most important thing, and make sure we win as many games as we can.'

"The most important thing is go out there and enjoy yourself and score goals at the same time.
"I will keep on adding more goals to my game which is the most important thing.
Chelsea's next English Premier League clash is against Burnley, but Moses feels there's no simple team in the EPL
"There's no easy game in the Premier League. It's 11 against 11. It's going to be a hard game for us on Saturday. But the most important thing is to work hard as a team and make sure we get the three points.
"We've won three in a row now, so we've got the confidence and belief. And we've got quality players that can win us games collectively and individually.
Moses added: "We will keep on working together as a team and make sure we get the three points come Saturday..
