Police rescue two persons kidnapped in Lagos school, six others still with their abductors
The Lagos state police command have rescued two persons among the eight
kidnapped by suspected militants at the Model College, Igbo Nla in Epe
area of Lagos yesterday October 6th. The gunmen said to be about six in
number, a female included, stormed the school premises during their
assembly.
The kidnappers shot sporadically into the air as they abducted four students, a teacher and a vice principal of the school. Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni says efforts are being made to rescue others as more operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) have been deployed to the area.
