TLC To Release Album In Summer
TLC's fan-funded album is set to be released this summer. The girl group - consisting of Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins, 46, and Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas, 46 - created a page on Kickstarter in January 2015 to help raise the necessary funds to create their fifth and final studio venture.
And now the group's manager Bill Diggins has now confirmed that over two years later, the Waterfalls hitmakers will be releasing the new material this summer.
In a lengthy post written on the band's Kickstarter page on Monday, Bill wrote: 'On behalf of TLC
and myself I want to express our most sincere thanks for your patience on waiting for the album.'
Bill continued: 'I am thrilled to let you know that the album is tentatively scheduled to be released at the end of June and you will receive your advance album prior to that.'
'We are working out the official date in the next couple of weeks and once it is final we will notify you.'
'This album could not have happened without your support and your confidence in TLC has inspired us greatly to make the best album possible.'
