Law litigators are to be feared in general, but certain litigation firms
in Nigeria strike fear into the hearts of their opponents like no
others. Law Repository Nigeria just concluded research into the
"fearsome ten” — the most-feared litigation firms in the country.
This
year, while two litigation powerhouses remained on the list (checkout
our 2015 list here), two prominent law firms were edged out by other
worthy victors. Another 15 firms were honored as “Awesome Opponents.”
So which law firms are the most feared when it comes to litigation in Nigeria? Let’s check out the
latest rankings….
Without further ado, here are the new Fearsome Ten
1. Wole Olanipekun & CoThe
biggest law firm in the country when it comes to election petition
matters. Wole Olanipekun & Co is undisputedly the biggest litigation
law firm in the country. Established in 1980, the firm is a fully
serviced legal practice that has earned a reputation for consistently
exceeding the expectations of clients. The firm has represented several
past and serving governors, presidents and National Assembly members.
The law firm is revered when it comes to election petition and
constitutional law matters. According to the firm’s website, the

being in a very active practice. The law firms practice spans both

law firm is one of the most feared when it comes to criminal matters in
Nigeria. The law firm handles most of the high profile case on behalf of

3. Falana & FalanaEstablished

4. Afe Babalola & CoThe

Other Awesome Opponents Although
