Ali Modu Sheriff Walks Out On Goodluck Jonathan At PDP Reconciliation Meeting

Briefing the Press after the meeting, former President Goodluck Jonathan said they have resolved to set up a committee whom in two weeks will come up with strong recommendations for a lasting solution.

The Committee will consist of the following; The former President or his Vice to chair the Committee, 6 BOT Members including the chairman, Six persons per geo-political zone, all Governors, Deputy senate and minority leader to represent Senate, Reps Minority leader to represent
Reps, Two former Governors from all Zones, Two women, Two Youths from each Zone.

The committee is expected to come up with strong recommendations, after which larger groups will be called again to implement the recommendation of the committee.

Jonathan said they are determined to solve the problem and make sure the party grows stronger again.

Meanwhile, Ali Modu Sheriff and his supporters had earlier walked out of the meeting after he and Makarfi were both disallowed from addressing the summit.
