NLC wipes out May Day festivity In Kogi to protest Non-Payment of salaries


The Nigerian Labor Congress (NLC) in Kogi has crossed out the festival of the current year's May Day in the state in dissent over the non-installment of specialists' pay rates and month to month benefits of retirees.In an announcement discharged on Sunday in Lokoja, (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) said the choice was brought in solidarity with the influenced laborers and beneficiaries.

The announcement was together marked by the state Chairman of the NLC, Mr Onu Edoka and his TUC partner, Mr Ranti Ojo. As per unions, the non-installment of compensation to a substantial
number of specialists and retired people in the course of recent months has crushed the common administration and the workforce of the state.
