Photo: UNIPORT undergraduate apprehended while attempting to dump a 7-yr-old girl he allegedly killed for ritual

The police in Rivers state has arrested a 200-level student of the Faculty of Science, University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, identified as Ifeanyi Dike, after he was apprehended while attempting to throw the butchered body of his neighbor's daughter identified as Victory Chikamso. According to reports, Ifeanyi who lives in the same house with the parents of the girl invited her into his room where he killed her and removed some of her body parts yesterday August 18th.

Her parents looked for her around but could not find any trace of her within the compound and even outside their house. Luck however ran out on the suspect when he attempted to dump the corpse of
the little girl at a refuse site. Some sanitation workers who saw him inquired what he wanted to throw away. They later discovered that it was a corpse he was about to discard. An alarm was raised and he was apprehended. But for the timely intervention of the police, he would have been lynched by the mob that had already gathered.
