Cedric Bakambu becomes most expensive African Player of all time after sealing £65m move To China
Congolese striker, Cedric Bakambu has joined Chinese Super League club Beijing Guoan in a record-breaking deal worth £65million from Spanish club, Villarreal.
The 26-year-old footballer agreed a long-term contract worth a reported £307,000 a week, despite interest from Premier League clubs, Tottenham, Newcastle, West Brom and West Ham.

Bakambu's move to China will make him the most expensive African player of all time ahead of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah who signed for Liverpool in a £39m deal from Roma.
The DR Congo striker who made 105 appearances for Villarreal scored 48 goals for the Yellow Submarine after arriving from Bursaspor in 2015.
