Harvey Weinstein smirks at the crowd as he very publicly turns himself into police on multiple rape charges for "sexually assaulting two women in NYC"

Harvey Weinstein, 66, publicly surrendered himself to the NYPD on multiple rape charges just before 7:30am this morning.

The movie mogul has been accused of rape and sexual assault by 85 women but he turned himself in to the NYPD for two cases involving 2 women in NYC. He is accused of first and third-degree rape as well as a first-degree sex act in cases involving two women, sources say.

He has denied all allegations of sexual misconduct made against him since October last year, but handed himself over to the police this morning.

After it was announced on Thursday that he will hand himself in today, Rose McGowan, Asia Argento and several other women who claim to have been assaulted by the once-powerful producer, took to social media to react to the news that Weinstein may finally be punished for his crimes.
