Mbanefo Ezuma, was born to the family of Late Mazi Damion Mbanefo and Madam Lucy Ezuma of Arondizuogu, in sIdeato North Local Government Area of Imo state in 1971. His Early education was at East Street Primary School and Secondary Technical School (STS,) Aba. He also obtained a Bachelor’s in Business Management from Mountain State University (MSU), in West Virginia, USA. He is a recipient of two Honorary degrees, a Master’s in Community Development and Doctor of Humane Letters, due to his community service and philanthropic activities.
Mbanefo has a positive dream-big personality that is inspirational to all. He left Nigeria at the young age of 19 to the United States of America. While in the US, Mbanefo put in several years of hard-work, dedication and perseverance to gain traction and became a successful global business entrepreneur. He established several multi-million-dollar businesses with clients from top US fortune 500 manufacturing corporations in Transportation, Logistics, and brokerage. Other business interests span globally across construction, solar and renewal energy investment and implementation, Property and Casualty insurance services, and Real Estate. His Leadership Skill is borne out of selflessness and humility. These leadership skills are the foundation and drive for his success today and there is no doubt that the positive effect will be felt by the great people of Imo State on day one in office.
Mbanefo Ezuma will be the first “Action Governor to Lead Imo State” come 2019. As he stated most recently “God Challenged me to change the lives of my people of Imo State for Good …No Excuses !!”. Mbanefo has demonstrated in a limited capacity as a business man, his dedication to emancipate the people of Imo State from not enjoying the proceeds of democracy.
