Paul Pogba Deletes 'disrespectful' Tweet After Jose Mourinho's Sack
Paul Pogba appeared to aim a parting shot at Jose
Mourinho after Manchester United sacked the Portuguese manager on
Tuesday morning.
The 55-year-old's departure was confirmed in a club statement, with United set to appoint an interim manager until the end of the season in the coming days.
Michael Carrick will take training on Tuesday and Wednesday as United prepare for Saturday's trip to Premier League strugglers Cardiff City.
The club's statement said: "Manchester United announces that manager Jose Mourinho has left the club with immediate effect.
"The club would like to thank Jose for his work during his time at Manchester United and to wish him success in the future.
"A new caretaker manager will be appointed until the end of the current season, while the club conducts a thorough recruitment process for a new, full-time manager."
Mourinho's relationship with star midfielder Pogba dominated the headlines at times during the opening four months of the season and Pogba tweeted within an hour of Mourinho's exit with a picture of himself alongside the caption: "Caption this."
The post was deleted a short time later.
Plenty of United fans found the funny side of Pogba's post but there were some who branded the message 'disrespectful'...
