Coronavirus: A Pharmacy In Ibadan Enforces Social Distancing (Photos)


A drugstore, Kunle Ara Pharmacy in Ibadan have stepped up measures to promote social distancing in the wake of tighter regulations to curbing the spread of COVID-19 in Nigeria.

This is in a bid to quell the spread of coronavirus which is currently ravaging the world as many people stormed the pharmacy to get their sanitisers and other preventive kits at the pharmacy.

Some workers at the pharmacy, were seen drawing lines on the floor of the compound of the crowded drugstore to show the distance shoppers should keep from each other in the pharmacy.

As of press time, there are 36 cases confirmed by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) so far with one case of COVID-19 death in the country.

Meanwhile, some supermarkets in Denmark uses price trick to stop sanitiser hoarding.

A photo of the price tag on the sanitisers obtained by this news medium shows that 1 bottle of sanitizer cost $4.09 (1,500 Nigerian Naira) while 2 bottles of the sanitisers costs $95 approximately (N35, 000).
