Governor Hides Jonathan’s One Term Agreement Document?
President Goodluck Jonathan and his foot-soldiers are doing everything
possible to bury any traces to issues relating to the one-term single
tenure he signed with governors of the PDP, especially those from the
North, to secure their support during the 2011 presidential elections.
The agreement which was kept with a South-South is said to be missing, as the governor is now claiming he can't remember were he kept documents of the meeting they had on that particular day.

Technically, the one term agreement document President Jonathan
allegedly signed with the PDP governors is missing and this is what is
giving the President's men the confidence to say there is no agreement.
The governor, who is claiming he can't remember where he kept the
papers, is believed to be taking orders his from President Jonathan to
bury the document.
Aggrieved PDP G-7 governors, have urged the President to stick to the
one term pact he allegedly signed in 2011 but Jonathan is insisting they
should provide the document.

“No doubt, there was an agreement but it was not circulated to all the then 23 PDP governors. But a copy was kept with a Southsouth governor for strategic reasons. When the issue came up recently among some PDP governors, no one could produce a copy.
“I think the Presidency was aware of where the pact was kept and that is why it has been confidently denying any pact.”

of the New PDP are already seeing signs that Jonathan is not ready to
allow the South-South governor to produce the document. As such, they
are consulting on the best way to go into an alliance with the APC in
2015, a move they believe will rattle President Jonathan.
